Days 5-10

Christopher and I took a trip up to Portland to look at the house that we put an offer in on and to look at other houses incase this house falls through.  During that time I didn't blog, but I did take a daily picture!

Day 5:  11 o'clock

The boys and I decided to go miniature golfing.  It was going fine until hole #10 when Anderson was having a hard time getting it over the hill and went into meltdown mode.  From then on he wasn't too interested in playing, but rather in running away and hiding.  This picture is before hole #10 at 11 o'clock.

Day 6:  Adventure

Christopher and I began our first day of our house hunting adventure in the Portland area.  We met with Steve, our realtor, and he took us to places around in Tigard (where we are looking at].  Then at noon we went to the house that we put an offer in on.  The house was having an inspection done and we also wanted to see it in person, since we have not yet.  We really liked the home and just hope that everything works out.  This picture is of the house.

Day 7:  Pattern

More house hunting is what we did.  This time we went exploring homes on the east side.  Then in the afternoon we went back to the west side.  I'm very happy that we decided to go with Portland because it is a really beautiful area and the people are super friendly.  Plus, there are a ton of trees and it is very green!

Anyway, Christopher and I went out to a nice dinner before a movie and this was the pattern on the bathroom walls.

Day 8:  T is for...

Taps.

The picture that I used for this day was actually not taken today and I was planning on putting one we did take today further down in this post, but it looks like only Christopher took pictures and he is on a work trip, so I don't have access to his photos, oh well!  In Portland they have so many shops where you go to fill up your growlers of beer.  It is just a bunch of taps of beers.  Portland is serious about their beer consumption!  They also sell cider and kombucha!

Today was our last day in Portland and we looked at even more houses!  This house hunting is exhausting.  We checked out the neighborhoods of Tualatin and Sherwood, which were really nice.  After we were done our realtor told us to take a trip to McMinnville, which we did.  They have this amazing aviation museum with a water park there.  We also had a lunch at an old hotel.  Then we headed back up to the suburbs of Portland and checked out some more areas and then we headed back on home.

Day 9:  We Live Here

Graeagle, CA

Day 10:  Flying

I thought that it would have been awesome if the timing worked out and this day was on the day that we were flying, but it was not.  I decided that I would just take a picture of me on the plane and then use it for today.  BTW, I still get very nervous when I have to fly :(.
